News from DVD Review magazine of perhaps the most eagerly awaited tv-based DVD release - Thunderbirds , coming to us in September. Thunderbirds arrives on September 11th priced at �15.99. Four discs will be released initially each containing four episodes. Carlton International has spent a considerable amount of money over and above the other ITC titles digitally restoring Thunderbirds and re-mixing the original mono soundtrack into 5.1 surround sound. The DVD releases will boast spectacular 3D animated menus by Abbey Road Interactive also in 5.1 and a whole raft of extras. Here's the rundown on what to expect: Thunderbirds Disc 1: Episodes - Trapped In the Sky, Pit of Peril, Perils of Penelope, Terror In New York City. Special features - Test your Brains interactive quiz. Answer all the questions correctly and you get access to an original ATV documentary about the making of the show. |
